Over the years, I’ve built and led an in-house creative team spanning design, photography, videography, and animation. Together, we’ve established a consistent yet flexible visual identity that supports everything from bespoke client pitches to large-scale public campaigns. My work at Jenner is about more than just execution, it’s about building and evolving a design culture within a high-performing, high-stakes legal environment. The firm’s visual voice is now a core part of how we compete, communicate, and lead.

Brand Evolution

In 2022, I led a comprehensive visual refresh for Jenner & Block, updating the firm’s typography, layout systems, and color palette to create a more confident and contemporary identity. The goal wasn’t to reinvent, but to modernize with restraint—refining rather than replacing. I worked across departments to bring consistency and clarity to a wide range of materials, including pitch decks, attorney bios, reports, signage, and the website. The updated system introduced stronger typographic hierarchy, a more flexible grid, and a simplified color palette that gave the brand room to breathe while reinforcing its authority. The result was a design language that aligned with the firm’s evolving strategic positioning—establishing a visual presence that feels both grounded and forward-looking.

Campaign Work

One of the most visible expressions of this identity was our visual campaign in response to a 2025 executive order. The firm’s litigation and policy work had national impact, and we needed a fast, coordinated visual response across social, web, media outreach, and internal briefings. I directed the creation of graphics, animations, and tailored layouts that helped the message break through—in tone, urgency, and polish.

Interactive Storytelling

Beyond static design, I’ve led the creative direction for interactive digital reports, including our annual Pro Bono and Equity, and Inclusion reports. These are built as microsites—narrative, modular, responsive—and reflect a shift in legal communication toward richer user experiences. I worked closely with writers, developers, and video editors to bring these stories to life.

Video and Audio Production

I founded and grew Jenner’s internal video team from scratch. Today, we produce firmwide campaigns, thought leadership, client stories, and event videos. From concept to script to shoot, I lead the creative and collaborate across departments to make content that is human, compelling, and strategically aligned. Video now plays a key role in how we differentiate the firm’s voice.

Events

The Annual Partners Meeting is one of the firm’s most high-profile internal gatherings, and I direct the full suite of visual and experiential branding. This includes signage, stage design, video openers, animated text, and printed materials—designed to create cohesion and energy across a multi-day experience.

Team Leadership

I manage a team of creatives across seven offices, balancing consistency with flexibility. I’ve implemented new workflows, creative reviews, and editorial standards to improve quality and speed. I’m also the point of contact for firm leadership, ensuring design is integrated into strategy from day one—not added at the end.

Client Development

Working closely with marketing and business development, I’ve crafted custom pitch collateral for high-stakes RFPs, key pursuits, and cross-practice initiatives. These aren’t off-the-shelf decks—they’re bespoke tools designed to resonate with specific industries, challenges, and decision-makers. In every case, the goal is to reflect the excellence of the legal work through equally thoughtful design.

I serve as the lead creative for jenner.com, overseeing visual direction, content strategy, and ongoing updates in collaboration with firm leadership, IT, and external partners. My role includes shaping how key initiatives, lateral hires, and publications are presented online, while ensuring the site stays aligned with brand standards and responsive to user needs. I also track performance and guide improvements to keep the platform both effective and current.
